Hello Team,

while supply and input voltage are specified exactly with the same values in the abs max ratings I wonder why the supply is specified with 3.6V and Vin with 5.5V under recommended operating conditions.

Question: Is a supply voltage of 5V allowed without any problems?

    When you use a 5 V supply, the device will not be damaged, but the electrical characteristics are no longer guaranteed.

    (I suspect that the only difference is that the outputs have too much ringing when multiple ones switch at the same time. It's probably worse than the SN74AC244. But again, there is no guarantee.)

    Little logic devices (e.g., SN74LVC2G125) do work at 5 V.
