What datasheet parameters are tested as part of production test?  Which datasheet parameters are guaranteed by other methods?

    Hi Marshall,

    In general, our devices have all min/max electrical characteristics and switching characteristics tested.

    Absolute maximum ratings are based on initial characterization, the technology used, and the specific transistors in the design.

    The SN74AHCT244-EP is tested at high temperature (125C).

    Typical values are only tested at initial characterization.

    VOH, VOL, IOZ, II, ICC, Delta ICC, Ci, Co, TPLH (15 pF), TPHL (15 pF), TPZH (15 pF), TPZL (15 pF), TPHZ (15 pF), TPLZ (15 pF), TPLH (50 pF), TPHL (50 pF), TPZH (50 pF), TPZL (50 pF), TPHZ (50 pF), TPLZ (50 pF), tsk(o).

    Are any noise characteristic parameters measured on SN74AHCT244-EP specifically which are tested?

    VOH(V), VIH(D), VIL(D)

    Is the Cpd tested?

    All min/max specs for electrical characteristics are tested directly at 125C for the SN74AHCT244-EP.

    All min/max specs for timing are indirectly tested -- ie a delay test is completed, but not at every loading as only 1 load is required to verify correct operation.

    Typical values are not tested in production.
