My customer is working with SN54HC595 8-bit Shift Register, and they are having some issues with slow clocking, overshooting and ringing. They want to exam and test the shift registers themselves, since we do not have an EVM for this device, can you suggest an IC socket that they would be able to use to individually test our components? Or any suggestion to figure out a way to test and examine this component individually?
