Hi Experts,

We are in need of an HCS 'six independent buffers with 3-state outputs' for use in a MISO bus.
Which buffer can you recommend for new applications? I have filter a list of devices below but not sure if they will fit.

Both the '365 and '367 are suitable; the difference are the /OE inputs.

The pinout of the (eight-channel) SN74HCS541 can simplify routing.

Hi,

The customer intends to use the tri-state buffer to interface an SPI bus to six devices that don't have a tri-state port.

The suggestion has two banks of four and two buffers.
This is not what they are looking for; they need 'six buffers with 3-state outputs that all six can be controlled independently. In the selection matrix, it's very hard to distinguish this functionality. They can e.g. use three SN74LVC125 that have two 'channels'. Hope to receive further advise. Thank you.

Hi Gerald,

We do not have any device with 6 independent buffers. Our best suggestion is to use two SN74HCS125 which has 4 independent buffers.

Only '125 and '126 buffers have independent enable inputs.

If you want to save space, combine a four-channel SN74xx125 (HCS, AHC, LV-A, or LVC) with a two-channel SN74LVC2G125.
