We plan to use MCU(LM3S800) interface with MCP4921. Do we need level translator?

What are the VOH - VOL levels and VIL - VIH levels for these parts? Do they match?

VIH Minimum:0.7Vdd = 3.5Volt, Schmitt trigger input,

VIL Maximum:0.2Vdd= 1V, Schmitt trigger input,

VOH = 2.4V(min).

VOL = 0.4V(max)

It sounds like you may need a translator. Are the VCC different for the 2 devices? I would recommend a TXS0102 or TXS0104 for EEPROM, as they are likely using I2C.
