SN74AVC4T774: Will LSF0204 work?

Hi Team,

A customer is looking to replace Nexperia 74AVC4TD245 in their schematic. I suggest using SN74AVC4T774 as an equivalent, however, due to the limited layout space, they are looking for a component to be as small as possible. Will LSF0204RUTR work since they don't need the "DIR" pins?

In the schematic, the net name "VBAT_M2" is the 3.3V power rail and the net name "VDDIO_ECT" is the 1.8V power rail.

The LSF is a passive switch and has open-drain outputs requiring pull-up resistors.

For unidirectional signals, use a unidirectional translator like the TXU0304.

Hey Marvin,

It looks like your signals are SDIO- the TXS0206 would be a fit here as it offers a smaller package solution. Also see page 25 of the datasheet to ensure operation at the desired data rates/operating conditions.

However, if the signals per channel is not truly auto-bidirectional as Clemens' stated, the TXU0304 would work for unidirectional signals such as SPI.
