TXB0302: Sink current capability requirement

Part Number: TXB0302

Hi team,

I have a question about the TXB0302 datasheet.

I think Figure 2 describes the required input drive current requirement of external push-pull.

(2) mentions VD is the supply voltage of the external driver.

But I don't think VD is related to the input drive current requirement.

On the other hand, in SCEA043 Figure 4, VD is included to the IIN vs VIN curve, but it really confuses me.

Could you please elaborate on the input sink drive current capability requirement?

Regards,

Itoh

  • The supply voltage the TXB and of the external driver are the same; VCC = VD.

The point where the right end of the line intersects the X axis should have been labelled "VD" or "VCC".

The internal 1 kΩ resistor is driven to either GND or VCC, so the label "VCC" indeed is more correct.
