SN74LVC1G04-Q1: More recent Automotive qualification data

Part Number: SN74LVC1G04-Q1

A customer is concerned that the initial automotive qualification data for SN74LVC1G04QDCKRQ1 from 2015 does not meet current automotive standards. Is there another device that we qualified by similarity for technology to this device that does meet the current requirements for HTOL and HTSL? if so, can you provide a comparison table showing similarities between devices and the qual data for the QSB device?

  • Hi Kerry,

I have never heard of this concern before. What exact qualification data are you looking at?

If you go to the "Quality, Reliability and Packaging" data for a specific OPN, it shows you the "Ongoing reliability tests the device is going through.

  • The customer is looking at the qualification summary data provided in the PPAP for the device. Specifically they are referring to Automotive New Product Qualification Plan/Summary from February 26, 2015 for the device. Customer states HTSL should be tested for 500 hours at 175C and HTOL should be tested at 1000 hours at 150C. According to the report, we tested the part for HTSL for 420 hours at 175C and HTOL for 408 hours at 150C. They want to know if we plan to requalify the part to meet current standards or if we have qualified another device with similiar technology at the current standards.

  • Hey Kerry,

This is for the DCK package of LVC1G04 (there is DBV data as well). I believe this should alleviate your concerns. The ongoing monitoring is consistently updated.
