Hi,
In one of our legacy design, we found Direction Pin 1 and Pin 25 of level Translator (SN74ALVC164245DLR) is connected to +5V and board is working. Whereas datasheet says "If DIR high is needed (A data to B bus),ramp it with VCCA", my VCCA is 3.3V but DIR pin is connected to +5V so wanted to know if DIR Pin can also be supplied by +5V. Refer schematic below (circled in red).
FYI: During re-design of same board we identified this so needed clarification if correction needed in existing design.
