SN74LVC2G00: Question about tPLZ, tPHZ, tPZL and tPZH in the device datasheet.

Part Number: SN74LVC2G00

Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using SN74LVC2G00 for their next products.

At this moment, they have the following question about this device datasheet.
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
On page 8 of SN74LVC2G00 datasheet version SCES193N, we can see the following notes,
E. t PLZand tPHZ are the same as tdis
F. tPZL and tPZH are the same as ten

But we can't find tdis and ten parameters.
Are these comments wrong?
Should be these notes be removed in case of SN74LVC2G00?

Q2.
This datasheet says on page 13 that SN74LVC2G00DCTR package type is SM8.
Is SM8 same as SSOP package?
Why does TI describe SM8 not SSOP for package type?
Do you have any document which shows SM8 is SSOP?

Your reply would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Kazuya.

  • 1. This parameter measurement information page is common for many logic devices. The SN74LVC2G00 does not have an OE or /OE pin, so these parameters do not apply. Just ignore them.

    2. "SSOP" is not really a standardized name. For devices with 14 or more pins, it could be TI's DB or DBQ or DL package. For TI's DCT package with 8 pins, both "SM8" and "SSOP" names are used. See Analog and Logic Packaging:
