LSF0102-Q1: LSF0102 use case for SPI level shifter

Hi team,

Is LSF0102 device internal open drain? According to the d.s. application circuit the input and output both need pull up resistor. Customer want to use this device to level shift SPI signal from 3.3V to 5V. And the SPI speed is 4M. Do you see any concern using this way?

    Hi Scarlett,

    The LSF's I/Os are open drain that is correct. This device will be compatible with SPI signals, but will require external pullups for logic high signals. The customer may also see the TXU0304-Q1 which is a more robust solution designated for level shifting SPI applications.
