Tool/software:
Datasheet shows absolute max of +/- 50 mA for continuous output current.
Is this per pin or per package?
In other words, Can I safely sink 33 mA each on output 2B1 and 2B2 for a total current sink of 66 mA?
Hi Frank,
Yes, 66 mA is < 100 mA and okay, thanks.
Best Regards,
Michael.
Hi. To clarify, the datasheet says 100 mA continuous current through VCCA, VCCB, and GND.
But it says continuous output current of only 50 mA. So I am concerned 66 mA > 50 mA.
The output current is measured per pin, so this is OK.
But with any output current above 12 mA, VOL is no longer guaranteed.
