Tool/software:
Hi team,
My customer plans to use SN74AVC8T245 for the level translation of 1.5V<->1.8V and 1.8V<->1.5V. Output channel-to-channel skew of them are not stated on the datasheet, so could you please kindly let me know the output channel-to-channel skew of 1.5V<->1.8V and 1.5V<->1.8V. Both min/max value or typical value are acceptable.
This data comes from TXV0108.
Best regards,
Shunsuke Yamamoto
Hello Yamamoto-san,
I see you also contacted us via email with a similar question. To avoid having multiple E2E threads, could we continue our conversation via email? Thanks!
Regards,
Josh
Hi josh-san,
I would also like you to reply answer my technical question on E2E thread since this question is related to the technical question.
Please continue replying E2E as I also continue communicating via email.
Best regards,
Shunsuke Yamamoto
Hello Yamamoto-san,
Sure we can keep this thread open. I can get AVC8T skew measurements for you.
Regards,
Josh
Hi Josh-san,
This is just a kind reminder. May I know any updates on this thread?
Best regards,
Shunsuke Yamamoto
Hi Shunsuke,
We are still looking into this and update here with the results once captured.
Thanks,
Jack
Hello Yamamoto-san,
Quick update: The EVM I initially used did not provide great skew measurements. Mainly it is the EVM not being optimized for high speed signals. I'll be switching to the AVC8T245-RHL package and use the TVX-EVM instead. Apologies for the delay.
Regards,
Josh
Hello Yamamoto-san,
Parts have been delivered to me. If I'm not able today then I will send you the skew measurements by Monday.
Regards,
Josh
Hello Yamamoto-san,
Please see AVC8T245 output channel-to-channel skew measurements. Values below use C_load = 9pF and are captured at 100MHz and 25ºC
1.5V -> 1.8V
1.8V -> 1.5V
Regards,
Josh
