Would you mind if we ask SN74LV393A?

We would like to confirm following;
Is SN74LV393A required power on reset?
We guess that SN74LV393A is one of Logical device(not CPU), so it is not required to use power on reset.

It is a kind of confirmation, so please let us know.

Hirotaka-san,

I would recommend sending a CLR pulse to the counter at system startup to ensure that the counter is starting in a zero state. As far as I know, this chip does not have a guaranteed start condition and this would be the safest route to take.
