I'm trying to find out if it's recommended to use an SN74LVC3G17 with an RC on the input that will create a rise time of 10ms+. It has a Schmitt input so it should work, but I can't find anything that specifically states this is an acceptable use.
The SN74LVC1G132 (a NAND gate which is in the same family and also has Schmitt inputs) states in the datasheet that it can "be triggered from the slowest of input ramps...". There is no mention of anything like this for the SN74LVC3G17.
