Undershoot for input of SN74LVCC3245A

Dear Technical Support Team,

 I have a question about SN74LVCC3245A.

Do you have a reference value for undershoot if it is beyond datasheet specification?

For example, -0.8V undershoot occurred instantaneously.

("Input voltage range" is -0.5V(min) for All A ports and All B ports on Absolute max of datasheet.)

If you have a reference value and time for withstanding undershoot, please let me know.

Following Japanese E2E shows reference value for undershoot (it doesn't datasheet specification).

It said that peak voltage of undershoot is still -1.0v and the withstanding period is still 10ns on the assumption that diode is off.

    what is the duration of the undershoot here? The abs max specified in the datasheet will always hold true and violating it will is definitely not recommended . although , if the abs max current conditions are observed , the device can withstand the voltage. Sustained voltages are not advisable. you can try to include current limiting resistors or consider to include external protection devices .
