LSF0204: LSF0204

Part Number: LSF0204
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LSF0108,

I used LSF0204 and LSF0108 in VQFN package type with pull-up resistor in Vref chain and not use it for data channel. I used B side 3.3V and A side 5V.

0108 chip worked OK in both side. But 0204 have on the side B  3.3V and on A side 2.4V. And should have 3.3V as in 0108.

My question is :

- what is difference between these chips ?

- why 0108 work and 0204 not ?

  • Hi Vladimir,

These devices operate essentially the same, however the LSF0204 incorporates the 200kohm resistor required for the bias circuit into its internal structure. It also adds some circuitry to allow for a simpler external enable pin.

Can you provide a schematic showing how these are connected in your circuit? They should operate identically as far as the I/O signals are concerned, but the application circuit is a bit different for each.
