SN74LVC1G123: About conditions of Rext and Cext

Regarding to Rext and Cext on SN74LVC1G123, my customer is asking some question.

(Question)

(1) Could you please tell me calculation of output pulse width(tw)?

According to SN74LS123, calculation is following.

tw = 0.33 * Rext * Cext

In case of SN74LVC1G123, is it same as above formula?

(2) If Rext and Cext are as following conditions, could you please tell me that how the behavior will become?

･Rext is opened.

･Cext is shorted.

I guess that output pulse isn’t output on above conditions. Is there any impact to device?
