SN74AHCT126: How to determine maximum operating frequency

Hi

I searched in datasheet of SN74AHCT126 for operating frequency, will it work at 50MHz? (due to voltage levels we placed this part  and not the ABT )

    I split this into a new thread since you're asking a specific question about a different device.

    The answer to determining operating frequency can be found in our frequently asked questions, here: e2e.ti.com/.../3540.05-timing

    For this particular device, I searched on TI.com to get a list of devices in the same family using "SN74AHCT" as the search term: www.ti.com/.../universalsearch.tsp

    In the "Product" results I found the first clocked device (a D-Type Flip Flop): SN74AHCT74

    Then in the datasheet found the maximum guaranteed clock frequency: 100 MHz (160 MHz typical)
    *There is an error in this particular datasheet -- the UNIT of the fmax is incorrectly listed as ns when it should be MHz.
