Hi,

I am using the flipflop SN74LVC1G74. I am giving 5V signal to clock and remaining signas are 3.3V. Will the 5V clock will be problem for the triggering the flip flop?Below is the circuit attached for your reference.

Hi Anuraj,

Short answer is yes you can have 5V input with 3.3Vcc for the LVC devices as they are overvoltage tolerant inputs.

Can you share the non inverting buffer part with Converting to VCC of 5V?

Input will be 3.3V and output should be 5V

Anuraj,

You can consider using the SN74LV1T34 device for non-inverting 3.3 to 5V level conversion.

Thanks for the quick replay. I have to convert 17 signals. Can you suggest the part in 8 or 6 circuit inverting configuration.

Anuraj,

You can consider using SN74LV4T125 x 4 and 1T34.
else, you could also consider using SN74AXC8T245 x 2 and the sn74lv1T34.
