TXS4558: Schematic review

Part Number: TXS4558

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

Could you help check our schematic as below?

Any suggestion are welcome. Thanks!!

Schematic:

  • Hi,

I don't see any problems with your schematic. I have added our translation expert to review and see if they have any comments on this.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Shu cheng,

the CSEL is always at 0V due to the R47 resistor instead of being selectable from the MUX_SEL input? Currently it will not select the Sim2.

The EN1 and EN2 are connected to Mux3.3V but the Vcc pin is connected to VSIM( different voltage than Mux3.3V?)

Same with the CLKRUN1/2 pins tied to Mux3.3V? Having bypass caps on the Vbatt ,Vcc, Vsim1, Vsim2 pins are recommended as per fig 1 of datasheet.

  • Hi Sirs,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Update schematic here:

    Update answer as below

Q: the CSEL is always at 0V due to the R47 resistor instead of being selectable from the MUX_SEL input? Currently it will not select the Sim2.

A: MUX_SEL input will have the following software control H or L, the R47 & R42 HW  only for test, there will be switch to control

Q:The EN1 and EN2 are connected to Mux3.3V but the Vcc pin is connected to VSIM( different voltage than Mux3.3V?)

A: Both EN1 and EN2 are enabled and directly connected to Mux3.3V. The Vcc pin voltage is modified to Mux3.3V, it's should not affect the VSIM voltage of 1.8V.

Q:Same with the CLKRUN1/2 pins tied to Mux3.3V? Having bypass caps on the Vbatt ,Vcc, Vsim1, Vsim2 pins are recommended as per fig 1 of datasheet.

A:The capacitor part has been modified, Please refer as below

  • Ok, understood. looks good to me now.
