SN74LVC1G125-Q1: SPICE MODEL

Part Number: SN74LVC1G125-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G125

Hi TI-team

SN74LVC1G125-Q1 has no SPICE model.

But SN74LVC1G125 has SPICE model.

Please tell me why there is no SPICE in automotive products.

  • Hi Koji,

The SPICE model available on the web is a very simple model. What I mean by this is that since this is a buffer the model will output a low or a high at the output based on a low or high at the input and not model any device characteristics available in the datasheet such as VOL and VOH. It also only switches at 1/2 VCC meaning it doesn't react to VIL or VIH either. There is also no tpd built in to the device.

If you are looking to just maybe test the device like a truth table then you can just use this model for SN74LVC1G125-Q1 as well.

If you can let me know more about what you are trying to use this model for, I could maybe help by building you a SPICE model for the Q1 device.

    Thanks!
