TXB0106-Q1: Output High impedance when OE=Low

Part Number: TXB0106-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXB0106

Hi team,

I would like to know the definition of output high impedance state when OE=Low of TXB0106-Q1.

It is described in the datasheet that all I/O will be put into High impedance state when OE=Low.

I think Ilkg(off) spec in the datasheet means that both A ports or B ports only sink or sauce +/-2uA when OE=Low

even if A ports or B ports are externally driven High or Low.

Is my understanding correct?

I would like to make sure that no leakage (<2uA) current flown through all I/O port when TXB0106 Vcc is powered but OE=Low

and the MCU connected to TXB0106 is powered off.

regards,

  • Yes; when OE is low, the internal circuits are effectively disconnected from the I/O pins.

The leakage current specification for OE = low is not Ilkg(off) but IOZ; it says "output" because the inputs buffers have high impedance in any case. (And the value is the same anyway.)
