Hello.
According to the SN 74 LV07A datasheet, the undershoot voltage is -0.5 V.
Is there any risk if the undershoot voltage is lower than -0.5 V?
We observed -1V/1.5ns, that should be ok or not?
Best regards.

Jungo,
Having a series resistor on the output can limit the overshoot/ undershoot to a large extent while also limiting the output current.
Abs max table note 2 states that the output voltage rating can be exceeded if the output current is limited within the stated spec.
What is the application for this? We could suggest alternate devices if suitable to the application.
Shreyas,
Thank you for your response.
This is an industrial equipment controller.
The input current is 12mA, that should be ok or not?
Best regards.

Shreyas,
Thank you for your response.
We understood that an undershoot voltage of -1 V/1.5 ns is not a problem.
Best regards.
