Hello,
The CD74HC123 is rated for HBM 500V, CDM 250V.
Hi Lin,
I would recommend considering the SN74AHC123A as dual retriggerable MMV which has 2kV HBM, 1kV CDM which is similar to CD74HC123 but better.
Hi Shreyas,
Are these two devices p2p with NXP 74HC123? Which device is the best one to replace NXP 74HC123? Thanks.
HI Lin,
It depends on the package.
SN74AHC123A is P2P with NXP if TSSOP/ SOIC packages are being used. We dont have the DQFN package available.
The AHC device meets the NXP's ESD levels but not CD74HC123.
Hi Shreyas,
Thanks. As I discussed with the customer, they need ESD>2kV and K=0.45 when VCC=5V. Both SN74AHC123A and CD74HC123 cannot meet their requirements. I cannot find another solution in TI.cim, do you have other recommended solution?
Hi Shreyas,
Do you have some other IC solution that meet customer's requirements above? Thanks.
Hi Lin,
The desired pulse width can be achieved by the Cext/ Rext and knowing the K value.
I do not see a good replacement device with K =0.5 and with the rated ESD.
