SN74LV4T125: SN74LV4T125 max supporting length?

Part Number: SN74LV4T125

Hi expert,

Our customer is using  SN74LV4T125 as a SPI repeater.

Customer is operating the device up/down translation at 3.3V  and Vcc = 3.3V, the max frequency 20MHz

May I know the question as below?

1. The length from pch to SN74LV4T125

2. The length from SN74LV4T125 to connector

So far on customer's board is 33cm, is this possible to support?

    Hey Oliver,

    There is no set length the device can support, not all PCB stackups are the same so the capacitive loading won't be the same. This is what they need to limit. At the input you need to make sure your rise/fall time isn't delayed passed the max input transition rate spec. At the output we recommend keeping the capacitive loading under 70 pF.
