Hi team,

I would like to ask for your assistance regarding the customer situation below.

They have 2 different printed IC for SN74LVT16245BDGGR came from 2 different distributors (Digikey and Mouser).
Here's the customer observation:

We observed the following issue while using this part.
The following figure shows the Circuit, which uses this buffer and we observed that the inputs are getting loaded. When the input is set to logic HIGH, we observed only 0.8V at the input pins.
In case of normal working buffer, we observe about 3.2V at the inputs at this condition.
This low level at the input affects our logic at the output side and therefore the System functionality.

Here's the image of the chips. Please let me know your inputs regarding this issue.

The IC with "G4" is the one working properly.

The schematic of the customer is based on SN74LVT16245A below:

Please let me know your comment on the 2 same devices with different prints.

I don't see any problems with the schematic, but of course I have very limited information provided, so there are plenty of chances for an issue beyond what was shown.

I'm currently looking into the topside markings to see if there are any issues.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I wanted to check into a few things before replying.

The bottom device (with the TI logo) has the correct markings for a TI device. The top one I cannot verify the source of.

I would recommend contacting the supplier and getting information regarding the source of the part.

Hi Emrys,

I also notice that the TI logo is not present or not clear in the 1st IC picture.
I will confirm this with the customer and will get back to you.
