Regarding CD4043B datasheet, which is not described the Absolute Maximum Rating of Vout and Iout.

Could you please let us know the value.

    The datasheet does not mention ESD protection diodes on the outputs, but the body diodes of the output MOSFETS act in the same way. There is no current specified for them, so we have to assume a limit of 0 mA, which means that the output voltage should never exceed the VSS…VDD range.

    The output current is limited by the power dissipation per output transistor (100 mA). The power dissipation has to be derived from the output voltage and current (figures 2…5).
