Hi ,

What is the variation of IVCC with respect to temperature?

I find  that I_VCC is 4uA at -40 deg and at 25 deg it is around 53uA.

Is my measurement correct?

  • Hi Anne,

The supply current is guaranteed to be less than 10uA across voltage and temperature under the condition that all inputs are terminated at either VCC or GND.

Typically we see under 1uA at room temperature and even less at -40C.  Have you left any inputs floating (disconnected)?

  • Hey Anne,

I can't really say for sure if your measuring correctly or not. I can say that max Icc over the full range temp for this device is 10 uA. So if you are seeing 53 uA, then its either a damaged device or the measurement is wrong. Things that you can possibly be doing wrong: floating inputs or High outputs with some load.
