    Hi Maxime,
    Electrically, there is no difference between these two parts. There are different packages available on each - 1G has RSE and DQE, 2G has YZP.

    I believe the different part numbers were due to a marketing issue - ie one of our competitors likely makes a '2G' version that we had to match part numbers with.
