My customer uses only channel 2 of SN74LV123A.

Can they leave pin#15 (1Rext/Cext) unconnected?

    The Rext/Cext pin is an analog I/O that goes to the internal comparator:

    It is probably not a good idea to let it float. You can pretend that Rext and Cext are infinitely large, i.e., connect the Rext/Cext pin directly to Cext.

    Consider using the single-channel SN74LVC1G123 instead.
