I'm looking for a reference design for the TMC1230D5PM.
In particular the crystal arrangement and the recommended power supply and decoupling, capacitor locations, what to do with unused pins etc, etc, etc.
I realise that much of this may be derived by careful study of the the user manual but I'm looking to get up to speed as fast as possible.
The EK-TM4C123GXL launchpad uses a different chip and a 32.768kHz crystal, so that doesn't help me (unless someone can confirm that they are equivalent devices).
Thanks in advance!
Dave
Hi Dave,
Please find below the differences between TM4C1230D5PM and TM4C123GH6PM on the EK-TM4C123GXL LaunchPad. They are the same silicon die with different configurations. You can reference the TivaWare examples for EK-TM4C123GXL on your application.
Here is another board for TM4C123 that we no longer sell and support. But if you want to reference the schematic you may do so. It is in a different package than TM4C1230D5PM.
In particular the crystal arrangement and the recommended power supply and decoupling, capacitor locations, what to do with unused pins etc, etc, etc
Does System Design Guidelines for the TM4C123x Family of Tiva C Series Microcontrollers help?
Thanks, yes, we had all these documents already, but not a good reference design. So we got there in the end by careful study of all the documents, the launchpad schematic and layout.
