Part Number: TIDM-TMS570BMS

Hello!


I am starting my research involving electric vehicles. I would like to buy a battery management card. I found two options: TIDM-TMS570BMS and TIDA-00817. I understand that the TIDM-TMS570BMS has a balancing module BQ76PL455A-Q1 EVM GUI that allows installation of software for real-time management. Tida-00817 does not have this module. My doubt is:

what is the main difference between the two solutions. Can I use the software for the TIDA-00817 kit version?

    TIDM-TMS570BMS is a old version BMS example using TMS570LS0432 MCU and BQ76PL455A; This version was developed by TMS570 Hercules MCU Team. TIDA-00817 is new version using TMS570 and BQ76PL455A developed by TI BMS team. You can use either of them as a reference. I am not sure if the SW for two versions are exchangeable.
