Hi,
I am able to program the out of box demo example program to MSP-EXP432P401R using CCS. Do I need to convert the .out file to hex or bin file for programming using a tool? What tool do I use programming is it Uniflash or MSP430-FLASHER?
Another question. Can I use the JTAG circuitry of the MSP-EXP432P401R to program another MSP430 target board or custom board?

Hi Markel,
The MSP432P devices only have limited support now. To answer your non MSP432-P specific questions, the recommended tool for programming would be Uniflash. MSP430-FLASHER has been combined into Uniflash and is no longer actively supported. You'll need to load a binary file where further instructions can be found here [link]. Also, here's a Uniflash quick start guide [link].
Thanks,

Hi Urica Wang,
Just additional question. I was planning to use the SimpleLink SDK Bluetooth Plugin with MSP-EXP432P401R and CC2640R2F. Since MSP432P is discontinued its not a good idea to do that anymore. Any plans for the SimpleLink SDK Bluetooth Plugin to support other MSP MCUs?
