A motor drive application I am working on will require monitor 4 encoders, ideally through the eQEP modules on the Sitara chip. However, even the enhanced analog configuration of this chip series only has 3 of these modules. Is there a way on the Sitara line of chips to 'emulate' an eQEP by using a properly configured combination of other peripheral modules? We are looking for a solution which could read quadrature encoder directly with minimal processing in real time. How would you recommend we solve this problem?
