Hi,

We are using CC2640R2 (simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_2_30_00_28).

We want to change/ update the BLE advertising device name which can set by central device(Mobile App) in production level testing.

currently same name advertising for different devices. we want to keep the serial number of the device as a BLE advertising device name. 

Kindly help us  how to implement the  device name service (services/characteristic) for different BLE peripheral devices which are existing to resolve this issue.

    Hi Rajesree,

    We cannot do it for you but we can support you doing it.

    For now I would like to point you out to our SimpleLink Academy.

    Within our "Bluetooth Low Energy Fundamentals" we explain, how changing the GAP name works.

    Within the "Custom Profile" example there is some explanation on how to create and update services and profiles. Feel free to reach out if you run into issues.
