Hi,

The purpose of this xds200 is used to flash the CC2640, which is in our customer-designed and made board. When connect the xds200 to my pbc board, there is no power supply and it can't detect the CC2640. Occasionally, it shows CC2650.

Same board, we use another device, xds110, it power up very well, and we could flash it with SmartRF Flash Program-2. highlighted with red circle.

Can I return this device?

I don't know what is this. there is no power to our board. but the other xdx can provide. don't understand your request. it is a defective device. I don't want to spend too much time on this defective device. I move on to use others.

I am a little confused. The XDS200 does not supply power to the target board. Is this your expectation?

Using this Smart Flash Programmer with xds200, do you mean we need to provide a power supply to the cc1640? Then, it will be findable? But, in XDS110, it is direct connected and it flush perfectly. is there a difference between them. Thanks!

The XDS110 debug probe can supply power to the target. It has this feature.

The XDS110 debug probe is a low-cost system for debugging and tracing embedded systems centered on Texas Instruments (TI) microcontroller, microprocessor, and DSP-based systems. The XDS110 has improved performance relative to the XDS100 probe family, and added several useful capabilities such as probe-supplied target power and enhanced I/O.

The XDS200 debug probe cannot supply power to the target.
