TMS570LS3134: Dual-Core redundant

Part Number: TMS570LS3134

Hello,

I have choosen the MCU with part number TMS570LS3134. the datasheet says "This device has two ARM Cortex-R4F CPU cores where the output signals of both CPUs are compared in the CCM-R4 unit."

As I understand it, dual core is a cheker, so no other program is loaded on the dual core, right?

this is an important question for me because I am developing an aerospace project according to DO-178C which is level A. So, if the dual-core is programmable, I have to verify the peripheral of the dual-core and since this verification is a very time consuming task, I need to know that the dual-core is just a checker core and no other programs are loaded into it. Slight smile
