Hello,
We are currently working on the AM243X and need to use a third-party library for Ethernet/IP, as the one provided by TI does not support CIP Secure.
Could you provide any guidelines on adapting the Ethernet/IP FWHAL to a third-party library? Also, we are uncertain about how to configure the ICSS EMAC. We did not find any example code for the initialization in the SDK documentation (the one for industrial protocols). Although there is a list of steps to follow and a list of required interrupts, we need a practical example that shows us how to perform the setup and how to link the stack to the FWHAL.
Thank you and kind regards
We are planning for a custom stack porting collateral soon to be released in public. COuld you please let me know when do you plan to do this porting.
Meanwhile please refer to these threads for immediate help: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1297173/mcu-plus-sdk-am243x-dlr-integration-issue
Hello,
Our project is already underway, and we're awaiting guidance on how to introduce a third-party library for CIP Secure integration.
Thank you for sharing the similar thread. Could you please advise us on where to find the IRQ solution? We need clear instructions on how to proceed, especially since the necessary details seem to be missing from the Ethernet IP adapter example.
Allow me sometime to get back on this. I will try to get back to you by Friday this week.
Could you please share your email id, I can share the draft version of the porting guide.
