I am using the sysconfig 1.20 to setup an i2c module of a F2838x device. C2000Ware 5.2
I realized that setting the pins as STD works, instead of letting the default Open Drain which pulls the lines somehow low.
From the TRM:
I saw the post asking for allowing that option: It might be a mistake as Open Drain should not be allowed on this module.

If so, the note in the TRM and Errata are correct. Open drain mode is not supported on this device, but it can be emulated in software:

No, I was telling that when I create a new I2C module in Sysconfig for my F2838x device, the default configuration of the GPIOs is with Open Drain option enabled. which is incorrect for the i2c module, as shown in the extract of datasheet that I posted.
By the way, thanks for the information about the OpenDrain Errata, to avoid future issues. It might be a good idea to warn in Sysconfig when one set that option in the gpios.

Where there were complains about the warning of setting open drain option and it was "fixed". I think it wasn't a bug. Should be revised.
