We have SafeTI diagnostic Library for our Hercules controllers, you can find and download here:
SAFETI-HERCULES-DIAG-LIB-CSP IDE, configuration, compiler or debugger | TI.com
In this library you can find the API's to test ECC for both SRAM and flash.
Please download it and verify the routines for ECC testing's.
