So - what is the new design to replace LM3S6432

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3S6432

OK - I have to walk into my client's office tomorrow and tell them that after spending many $10s of thousands of dollars on chips, designs,  boards, tool chains and processes, that TI has decided to drop the key chip that they need for their product.  LM3S6432 in BGA.  And no, they aren't waiting until July / August for more chips.  They are pretty much done with TI anything.

Not only does TI look bad, I look bad also for recommending the Stellaris chips in the first place.  So now I'm scrambling to find an alternate solution.  Thanks TI.

Out of curiosity - since the LM3S6432 is NRND and nobody stocking, just exactly what is the chip we are -supposed- to use for a new design as replacement? I don't see any Cortex M4 / M4F that is a drop-in replacement for LM3S, and not in BGA.  The LQFP devices are too big - its gotta be BGA part.  Plus it must have PHY built in, no room for external PHY chip.

At least I'm not seeing it.

Plus it has to be code-compatible and available in quantity for next production run.  Which was supposed to start last week.  What a mess.
