Hello, I have problem to record a TMS470R1B1M flash, flash lei perfectly, I wanted to rewrite it to make a test, but I pulled the error message (blocked field), I am haceindo with Segger J-link, I hope you can help me. I'm doing it in circuit ..

I have to put some logic pin high or low, to make writing as other MCU from other manufacturers?

What software tool are you using to try and reprogram the flash? What error message do you get?

Hi Sunil, I'm using Segger J-link to read the flash, also to try to record it.

the error message is:

Failed to erase sector 0 @ address 0x00000000(Algo9: Sector is locked)

Falied to erase sectors

Failed to program target

Hi Marcos,

This MCU has a memory security module (MSM) that could block JTAG accesses. The last 128 bits in the first flash sector are the flash erase/program protection keys. The 128 bits before the protection keys contain the "visible unlock code" for the MSM. If this code is changed from its default value, then the MCU becomes locked.

Do you already know what is programmed into the part in the MSM code locations?
