TMS570LS0232: The FlexRay example code of fray.h and fray.c

Dear Experts

We saw someone mentioned that the FlexRay example code of fray.h and fray.c demonstrates the functions of FrayInit, FaryStartUp, FraySend, FrayReceive, FrayIsTxMessagePending, and FrayIsRxMessageArrived.

We do see fray.h and fray.c in Hercules Safety MCU Demos but didn't see other functions.

Could you let me know where I can find them?

Hi Jefferey,

I don't know where you find those mentioned functions. We do not have specific TMS570 FlexRay application notes and neither do we provide any Flexray drivers, but there are several E-Ray application notes available on the Bosch AE webpage. The TMS570 uses the Bosch AE E-Ray (Flexray) module. FlexRay drivers for TMS570 are available from Vector and Electrobit within their AUTOSAR package. TTTech may also have a driver developed for the TMS570. Perhaps those flexray functions you mentioned are provided from one of those vendors.

We have a flexray demo example that you can download from here. Other than this we have limited expertise in Flexray.

BTW, the TMS570LS0232 does not have on-chip Flexray support. You will need to search other Hercules parts such as TMS570LS31x, LS12x, LC43x for Flexray feature.
