Hi,

I am working on Hercules TMS570LC43x Development Kit. Trying to get the lwIP demo working.

I loaded the pre-built out file to the board and executed. (File location: HALCoGen EMAC Driver with lwIP Demonstration\lwIP\TMS570LC43x\Demo Executable\Build-TMS570LC4357ZWT.out)

The result is as follows:

HERCULES MICROCONTROLLERS
Texas Instruments
Big Endian device
Initializing ethernet (DHCP)
        DEBUG - Getting PHY ID....SUCCESS
        DEBUG - Getting PHY Alive Status...SUCCESS
        DEBUG - Getting PHY Link Status...SUCCESS
        DEBUG - Setting up Link...SUCCESS
..DONE


-------- ERROR INITIALIZING HARDWARE --------

Why is this problem happening?

Isn't it supposed to be working or am I doing something wrong?

I've fixed the issue, let me explain if anyone needs help in the future:

The demo application has a defined length delay for acquiring an IP address from the DHCP server.

In our network, it took more time to establish a connection and acquire an IP address, so I've increased the delay where the DHCP communication is established. That fixed the issue for me.
