TM4C129EKCPDT: Report NmiSR, failed to start

  Can you elaborate your problem? You have a custom board that you are unable to connect to the target even swapping with a new TM4C129 chip? What is your debug probe? Do you see different results when using different debug probes such as xds100, xds200, ICDI? Although I'm not clear with your question, I will suggest you start with this app note to debug your problem. http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spma075/spma075.pdf Check if you have proper pullup resistors. Go to the last section about troubleshooting the JTAG problem.

Thanks for your reply.

It's not a JTAG problem. Emulation is JLINK V8. JTAG is working well.

It seems it's a hardware issue that not start go to working. No matter erase the chip or change a new one.

How to troubleshoot the hardware problem? Do we have a hardware checking list? Thanks.

  sorry, I'm still not clear with your problem. Can you load a simple TivaWare example such as hello or blinky and will it work? Do you have a custom board? Why do you think it is a hardware issue? Is the issue only occurring when you run your own program or any programs will see the issue?

  If your problem is about getting an NMI then you may have some fault exceptions generated. Please refer to the below app note for troubleshooting.
