Perhaps - should 'interest here' prove strong enough! In learning that the vendor follows their (usual) practice of producing a 'reasonably' complete design package - yet 'minus' the pcb - my small Tech firm may be able to answer a, 'reasonably sized' need... (i.e. it makes little sense to 'Tool Up' and produce 10-20 boards - our 'other' opportunities FAR EXCEED that!) Answering such a request is 'outside' our usual practices - yet if one 'reads on' - it will become clear, 'How & Why' we just may be able to 'Produce & Provide' such 'Thermal Printer EVBs.'
It is expected that our effort would be, 'Price Advantaged' to the purchaser - as we could (optionally) include (both) the exact Seiko Thermal Printer (specified) & a variety of 'first class' - Thermally Sensitive/Printable Materials.
Through my firm's, 'volume purchasing' of the:
even, 'One-Off' - individual users - can achieve notable savings. It may also be possible for my firm to, 'Pre-Purchase & Supply' the major components - in a 'Kit Form.' (for user assembly - which is 'as intended' - by (any) Reference Design.) Again - 'ALL of this rests upon the 'degree of market's REAL interest' - in such a Thermal Printer/Project and/or Product.
For some time now - and (surprising to us) interest has been nicely growing in 'Thermal Printers.' My small Tech firm has been considering 'partnering' with another firm - to produce a, 'More Expansive' version of the 'Thermal Printer Driver/Controller' board - which has (just) been noted here.
Our board differs from the one poster referenced in that:
It is likely that (some) of the above can be 'integrated' w/in the existing board design. (Most likely via the addition of an additional board or two - and added, custom software.)
If interested - kindly respond via the forum's 'PM' - we never 'advertise' here - and in fact have simply responded to a poster's request - in which his 'board search' has, 'Failed to produce' the desired result... (i.e. an actual pcb)
