I see on many threads that the possibility of corrupt password locations on TMS320F2802 device is high when brownout or power interruptions was encountered during ERASE/FLASH operations
Is there an equivalent device to TMS320F2802 (same features/pins) but without the CSM feature (code security module) since I am not using these password feature on FLASH operations. so there is no password location to be corrupted or be inputted with unwanted values.
Thanks in advance.
There is no such equivalent device nor is it possible to disable the CSM. One idea to explore is to exclude sector A from the COFF file, i.e. don’t define sector A in the linker command file.
