LAUNCHXL-F28379D: TI-RTOS for C2000 missing in CCS App Center

Hi,

TI-RTOS 2.16 for C2000 Getting Started Guide says that TI-RTOS can be downloaded from the App Center. However when I search, there are no results displayed.

A general search got me to the page TI-RTOS Downloads where it is said that for C2000, I need to download SYS/BIOS.

From the TI-RTOS document I see that it has various components like below, and SYS/BIOS is the TI- RTOS Kernel.

QUESTION 1: Is only the TI-RTOS Kernel (the SYS/BIOS) available for LAUNCHXL-F28379D ?

QUESTION 2: If no, please provide the steps to install TI-RTOS for C2000 in order to use the other components.

I can confirm that only the TI-RTOS kernel (SYS/BIOS) is supported on C2000 devices. The only exception to this is the F28M35 and F28M36 devices which are the only devices supported in that "TI-RTOS for C2000" package.

Hi Whitney,

Could you also please confirm if TI - RTOS is supported on TMS320F28386D-Q1 ( www.ti.com/.../TMS320F28386D-Q1 ) ?

If no, could you tell me if there are any other 3rd party RTOS that are supported on TMS320F28386D-Q1 or other C2000 devices ?

SYS/BIOS is supported on the F28386D but not the full TI-RTOS package. As for 3rd party RTOS, SAFERTOS and OPENRTOS support C2000 devices.

We are working on a FreeRTOS port. If you have a sales representative or FAE, you can have them reach out to us and request a beta version.

Hi Whitney,

We don't have a sales representative or FAE, I have raised a request to your technical support team for information on downloads of the beta versions.

However, do you have a link where I can download it quickly as the case email says it might take 2 days to get a response.

This post only has an unofficial port available on GitHub. I am looking for original packages by TI.
