TMS320F28377D: Load the F28375D Out file into the F28377D

Hi,

Is it possible to load an Out file build with F28375D settings into F28377D?

If yes, can Uniflash load on the F28377D with the load settings on the F28375D?

My customer is thinking of porting the F28375D CCS project to the F28377D. So they want to know if the F28375D Out file can be loaded into the F28377D without any changes to the CCS project.

Sasaki-san,

UniFlash will allow you to load F28375D image in to F28377D.

I did not understand what you mean by the load settings - can you explain your question clearly?

Hi Vamsi-san,

Thank you for your supoort.

My customer plans to mass produce products using the F28375D.

Due to current delivery issues, they may use the F28377D as an alternative when the F28375D has poor delivery times.

At that time, I wanted to know if mass production could be done without changing the settings of the mass production line.

Hi Sasaki-san,

It depends on the tool that the customer is using for the mass production. The tool may check for the Part ID and thus block the program operation - please check with the tool provider.

Hi Sasaki-san,

I remember GANG does. Please contact them directly at support@elprotronic.com.

UniFlash checks, but it allows you to load though.
